Seven Mages

Seven Mages is a small game development studio in Zoetermeer. Founded by Jeroen Derwort and Bowie Derwort, with the goal to create intuitive and accessible games that make children happy.

Jeroen en Bowie have a history together. Their first project was Avalon in 1998, which was downloaded 200.000 times and won a prestegious award in 2000. Later they joined forces again on Online Soccer Manager (OSM) in 2001. This game reached millions of people worldwide. After selling it to Miniclip in 2020, they started Seven Mages Studio as a way to stay engaged in game development.

Penguin Panic was released as a free download for iOS, Android and Android TV in 2022, followed by a commercial release in 2025 on Steam.
