Who does not know Blijker Herman den under a rock situated. He connects his name to almost any cooking program in the Netherlands, and there are quite a bit. Besides all the work for television, he also just a great restaurant in Rotterdam: Las Palmas. The restaurant week was a good occasion to visit the famous televisiekok the Netherlands.
The decoration of Las Palmas is special and does to industrial. It is characterized by concrete walls and no hidden pipes and tubes. The Blijker also exhibit a preference for the provision of hunks of meat on meat hooks in neon. Those seem worth a fortune, so for the trained eye will be a great party to allow them to watch. However, it is a fascination that I do not share.
Fortunately, the food was excellent, our four-course meal consisted of tuna and salmon sashimi appetizer, followed by a delicious risotto with eel. The main course was a Black Angus steak and for dessert, a coconut creative dish served. This was accompanied by fine wines.

Herman himself was present and kept a close eye on things. This gives the food in his restaurant, of course extra cachet. The addition Blijker also ran "Mr. Reimers', a regular on Herman's programs around Las Palmas. This was an attraction in itself, because these well-known hotelier and graduate of the Steigenberger Hotelfachschule, feels not too big like a mad thing to go through the operating personnel and a helping hand to stabbing.
