Hanson with a new show, I must not miss! In the Heineken Music Hall I slipped for the most absurd idea I had ever seen of Hanson, and that is to say something to him.
The first time I saw a performance of Hanson was at the Erasmus College Zoetermeer. A small gymzaaltje was the setting for that show. I remember when I was only moderately impressed by him. So small, however, then he would not often be seen. The absurd humor proved a huge audience and all his performances were always sold out afterwards.
This time, in terms of entourage complete opposite of that first time, the Heineken Music Hall could seat as many as 3,500 fans Teeuwen. The room was so large that the comedian was not very clear for everyone. Therefore there were scenes that, like at a concert on both sides of the stage hung.
I found no benefit, this mass approach. Hanson must for a large part of his inimitable mimicry, and I was watching a screen is not pleasant. The small scale of a theater is a much more personal. But this way at least everyone had a chance to stop and visit.
The show itself seemed absurd than before. Anyone who follows Hanson knows a bit what he can expect. Anus Worms that listen to classical music, a fairytale in which a rabbit, a fox trying to set up and even a lost song about Islam. No way he tries to separate sketches or just to talk. At the most unexpected moments he lost again in another story.
Hanson seems to incarnate brilliant crazy. I was surprised about the fact that 3,499 others for that one idiot on stage were watching. Several times I have to laugh at me hard then to ask: why? It is something unique in the Netherlands, but the HMH is not really suited for.

for me it was the first time, the main hall was somewhat less indeed, but I would also like John mayer in a smaller room, but unfortunately you have these variables with other people.
A whole new experience!
