Stroll around the Stroll Home

As a result of winning a contest I could spend a weekend in a so-called Stroll Home in Drenthe. I had never heard of it but it was a spacious caravan to go. With Bowie and Fleur I made a "brother-and sister-weekend" of, and enjoyed the beautiful weather and the wooded area.

Because I usually opt for the convenience of a hotel, I had little expectations of the Stroll Home. But I was positively surprised by the space and luxury in the caravan. Shower, toilet and kitchen were present and also the sleeping places were comfortable enough.

Stroll to the Home as a base we spent the evening in Emmen, where thanks to the sunny weather was lovely to stay. During the day we amused ourselves with a walk and noble table tennis game. In a nearby village we made a real canoe trip. So I got quite the typical camping feeling.

In addition, I still notice that the person named "stroll home" has thought deeply should be ashamed. I have rarely seen such ugly un-Dutch, on-inspired word heard.
