Melchior club is a show made by three well-known comedians from now stopped, but wildly popular, BNN program "De Lama's": Nikolai Ruben, Ruben van der Meer and Tijl Beckand. Just so all the expectations were high. Not all signs were rosy.

The expectations were tempered because the three men originally with another theater to come up would be: Budget Youth. These aspirations, however, were early and quite rightly a halt because its associated TV program budget is not enough TV viewers attracted. The theater tickets were not even printed. The show was recorded but rage soon renamed Club Melchior and could go ahead. The question was obviously whether the quality of this hastily cobbled-together program would be sufficient.

Nikolai Ruben, Ruben van der Meer and let Tijl Beckand are not easily put off. The show began with an entertaining movie so that the comedians are extra emphasized their failure, not lack of self-mockery. What followed was incoherent, but fun. There were songs, skits in which the public was frequently involved and above all brilliant improvisations.

It was a continuation of the Lamas in the theater. Complete with buzzer and ask the audience what was portrayed to be. What I noticed was that the level of the Lamas was largely achieved. I always thought that much was cut in that program and only the funniest clips were shown. But this performance showed that the live improvisation no scissors needed.

A real must Melchior's club. Not completely polished, but the core of the program, improvisation, are beautiful.
