The construction of our house has started!

Last April we wrote ourselves to a house in the new district Oosterheem Zoetermeer. It was long uncertain whether the project, with the melodious name " Ambiance ", go ahead in these difficult times for the housing market, but in October 2009 was launched to build anyway given.

The district Oosterheem in Zoetermeer has two faces. The first part was completed some years ago, the district brought a bad name. But the neighborhoods are built is absolutely beautiful. The architecture of the neighborhood is based on that of 50 years and this gives the district a unique face.

The sun was shining when the alderman officially laid the first stone of the nine-story housing project. As you can see right now is only the foundation is still there and it's hard to imagine that here one year will be a full house.

The developer expects the building in the first quarter of 2011 will be ready. In the meantime, my current accommodation, situated on the Voorweg in Zoetermeer, go up for sale. This charming house 30 years I bought in 2006 and I saw it with great pleasure restored. The time is again ripe for a next step: a house of Annemarie and me together, we the next stages of our lives hoping to make.

A new house is another exciting adventure and I'm really curious how the house that we so far have seen only a drawing, there will soon look like.

The street where our house will be located, which currently does not exist however, is "Patmos" called to a sunny Greek island .
