Haarlem and the estate Duin & Kruidberg

For a fun weekend away, you may think not so quick to Haarlem. However, Haarlem has much to offer with its many historic buildings and the city center. Especially when you can stay in the nearby estate Duin & Kruidberg a visit to Haarlem worthwhile.
Duin & Kruidberg is a stone's throw from Haarlem. At this hotel was why I chose to find a nice residence near this city. The gardens are also impressive mansion next to the Park South Kennemerland.
The Saturday we spent shopping in the center. You may well find that Haarlem is a city of any importance is the capital of North Holland.
Arriving at our hotel we enjoyed a delicious dinner at Brasserie DenK, located in the basement of the mansion. A nice touch was that after our ordered drinks in the lounge (an Irish coffee and hot chocolate), spectacular were prepared by the bartender with the necessary fire, bowls and jugs.
The next day we walked a trail through the nearby nature reserve South Kennemerland. In the woods and dunes here as you'll surely walker to attract you. Just a pity that the icy cold was around this time of year, but a nice hot chocolate afterwards amply compensated this inconvenience.
We were very pleased with the service and the allure of estate Duin & Kruidberg. An ideal base for touring the city of Haarlem and the South Kennemerland nature to explore.
