Cabaret: Paulien Cornelisse

Paulien Cornelisse is the author of the best-selling book "Language is saying but really my thing." I knew this humorous book and I thought it would be interesting to see how her work would translate to a cabaret program.
She started the evening off with some dry jokes language and its distinct facial expression. It was already after about 20 minutes my attention that slowly but surely began to wander. The pace of the show was slow and her lazy, cynical prevent went quite quickly on my nerves.
This was not fun because the show lasted a half hour. The language jokes from her book were best liked and this saved the presentation a bit. In the final part was still a nice comparison of the time in which they compared with dates (19:00 hours the year 1900, 20:00 is the year 2000, etc).
Apart from this peak had sparse Paulien Cornelisse sad little material. She can not sing, not dance nor play an instrument. In short, no additional talents that would make it worth that she is on stage.
At the conclusion of her performance I find that they can continue to better writer. I look forward particularly to her next literary contribution but a solo cabaret show is clearly not for her role.
