Skûtsjesilen in Friesland

Internet marketing company E2Ma recently invited me out to go on a sailing trip on the Frisian lakes with Skûtjes. With about 200 other publishers and advertisers, I went aboard a ship characteristic and chose the high seas.
Beforehand, it was even warned that a raincoat and warm clothing would be no luxury, but on this beautiful autumn day in September we could enjoy a wonderful sun.
Since I am not a king sail I was glad it skûtsjesilen itself was handled by professionals. My contribution was limited to the hoisting of the sail which is already heavy enough. It was a wonderful sight to this fleet of eleven ships navigate the lakes to see.
Furthermore, we could relax on the boat talking with colleagues and competing colleagues. The only thing we occasionally had to watch was the overcoming of the sail. As our experienced skipper striking accent with Fries said a beam of 750 pounds wins your forehead not.
