Concert: Toppers in Arena

Who is looking for an over-the-top experience with glitter suits, feather headdresses and Hazes to sing music of Queen is not the 'Toppers' round. While in Moscow they do not mind the paint came off in the Netherlands this concept is still very popular. There were over 100,000 people come down on the three little too corpulent gentlemen.

Since I am not am known as a great lover of polonaise walking and belt with golden oldie hits from Gordon, Jeroen van der Boom and René Froger and Rob de Nijs, I did not know what I could expect from this "greatest sing-along concert of the Netherlands.

Upon arrival at the stadium was already immediately that only the people are already looking very nice. Strange garments, gold jackets and bizarre headgear predominated. We had done our best by themselves in style in 'Shine' outfits to make our entrance.

We could prior to the concert as a skybox in there for a beer. Then we rushed to our seats.

Large screens above a circular stage in the middle of the stadium showed close-ups of the dancers and singers and also (very useful for me) the lyrics of the songs were sung, so sing along no problem.

The whole spectacle was very varied. There were guest appearances by Rob de Nijs, the sons of Rene Froger, the X-Factor winner, Johnny Logan and Robert ten Brink. The whole was supported by light effects and even fountains on stage. A beer there and you know it sing along fun.
