Charities terror

If my mailbox is empty gives me a large part of the post straight into the trash bins. The NO-NO sticker on my letterbox makes sure that I am not a mountain unaddressed print advertising hoof to struggle. But there's still enough rubbish about. Usually I throw it carelessly away, but sometimes I'm amazed what I get sent unsolicited.

I'm talking about the ongoing mission of the charity. When I see what they spend on advertising: this is pure waste. They will undoubtedly have made the commercial calculation that their paper money rake in as much terror that the cost of such mailings be amply compensated. But that does not matter that they would use my money to other people with unwanted junk to saddle I find unforgivable.

They play on your guilt and make use of the motto: "It always ends justify the means'. So they find it no difficulty of handwritten notes and supposedly "personal" calls to operate. The guilt is still the most excited when they do send it by post. A pen was popular for a while that you could fill in the giro. But that does not seem good enough anymore.

I recently received: three coins of five cents, with tape in the envelope provided! This letter in the name of "Sister Michaela 'from Guatemala was sent to me really shot down the wrong way. It's a long story of deceit and deception. Money sent with a letter like this I find nauseating response to the guilt of people. I therefore have no confidence in the organization (the "Global Village for Children") that these kinds of lies sent.

Poverty in Guatemala is also really, I did last year with my own eyes when I was there. But demand there than in any other way you spend money to focus on helping those people. Let Sister Michaela now send her savings but not engaged with the children for whom she, from the mouth of the marketing machine of the charity, so touchingly asks for help.
