Cabaret: Roy Aernouts

The last contribution of this season to the upcoming cabaret talent subscription came from the Belgian Roy Aernouts. The comedian took a surreal representation on the boards who excelled in music, and (to my taste sometimes too) intelligent humor.
No silly jokes from Roy Aernouts, but no profound political analysis. However, many strange songs with a chorus as: eating after mid-night ... do not ... for two. Beautiful findings such as: "Time is an agreement that we all have made other arrangements in time to come" and "I got all your dreams fulfilled, and they thus taken away from you."
The show was filled with songs and Aernouts, who played guitar, bass and was supported by a second voice, a winning combination.
Although there was enough positive to say about this program, I did not half hours handcuffed to my seat occupants. I think that had to do with the songs sung were clever but sometimes too expirimenteel. I did Roy Aernouts also not convincing enough as the narrator.
After the show I got the feeling that this is one of the more intellectual cabaret but that it still can be much better.

Hi Jer,
There are not many comedians at the moment in this genre, musicality, I always appreciated, and intelligence of course. This comedian has to grow differently Sat ie not in cabaret talent, so for me a 7.
