Last Saturday was the second edition of Games in Concert . An event involving an orchestra game soundtrack musician who performs. Because I'm always poking live renditions of soundtracks, whether it be movies, games or series or anime goes, I was like last year also now present.
Through the pouring rain was not with the temporary location of musical Peace Palace in Leidsche Rein to find. This hall, located in the vicinity of Utrecht, was temporarily necessary because the real music was cultivated.
The lineup this time was again promising. There would be music played including Zelda, Mario, Tetris, Kindom Hearts, Assassin's Creed (featuring Brainpower & Intwine), Soul Calibur 2 and Star Fox. In addition, a number of other games I did not know. The composer was not this time Christopher Lennertz , but Laura Karpman . I had never heard of, but it seems to have certainly earned her stripes.

Then the judgment. This time the concert was again very impressive. The implementation of Tetris was worth an honorable mention, such a simple tune with what you can do when you have a full orchestra and choir have available is incredible. Even the guest appearances by Brainpower and the Portuguese fado singer Cristina Branco were a resounding success.
Drawback this time was the choice of music, which I found last time better. The arrangements and the acoustics of the hall were first optimized. However, I have a fantastic evening and everyone who has something to do with games or music soundtrack recommend this event next year to visit.
