Twice in the tank in a week, which is quite unique. I was last Sunday have witnessed the exciting cup final between Ajax and AZ. This time I went at the invitation of Stefan and Youri Raymond along with the hard core of Feyenoord in X box (right behind the goal) to support the home team in a duel to the UEFA Cup Play-Offs.

Feyenoord played the game against Groningen equal to 1-1. Pierre van Hooijdonk have opened the score with a free kick, but in the 74th minute came after Groningen awkward to defend Feyenoord side at the same height. That there was already a long time coming, because in football, this was not the best season for Feyenoord. Groningen had won with 2-1 at home so they go into the Play-Offs.

It was still a nice experience and especially because we were the most active box. The fans cheered their team with heart and soul. Songs were sung and opponents were rotten granted. Remarkably, the fans thought that almost the entire selection Groningen and the referee were of Jewish origin. In particular, Suarez and Meerdink had it Groning Ensenada side suffer. Referee Haverkort was denounced for "Oats Jew". The most original cry that I heard was in fact a convincing, "Van der Laak, Cancer Dragon!"

This was also the farewell match of club icon Pierre van Hooijdonk, who thus scored on his farewell match, but to show his emotions like that goal had been exchanged for a victory. He gave the fans at least have a decent farewell. After the race there was very little disappointment about the loss to be found in Feyenoord fans. Apparently many had already had to cope with disappointment that they realized that the season is already over.
