Sunday November 19 was the date of the International Children's Peace Prize Concert, at the Dam in Amsterdam. A lineup of artists including Sarah Brightman, the Sugababes, Ilse DeLange, Zucchero, Lucie Silvas, UB40 and Counting Crows was enough reason for us to enthusiastically to travel to Amsterdam to fully enjoy this concert. It ran a little different ..

The only thing I can still hear echoing in my head after the concert are the words of the inevitable John Smith who said, "and yes ladies and gentlemen, we are already to the last act of tonight!" Because yes, we came about starting . Previously eaten a tasty burger at Burger King, cozy cup of coffee afterwards, all ideal. Only had this pleasant prelude to the end result that we just heard the final whistle even when we finally had found a nice spot in the crowd.

Really we have so far not been given. Luckily I could still shoot some atmospheric pictures proved that our presence there, but I had at breakneck pace because even the last band, whose name has escaped me here, kept strictly to the tight timetable. Thus it happened that we had traveled all the way to Amsterdam for a song, and not even on the walls ;-)

But we are not as fast out of the field beaten! With a good pace, we are exploring Amsterdam, then we are in an ideal Irish Pub flopped down on the Leidseplein. After a tasty Irish beer we visited the brasserie across the street a bit and ... golly, it was even possible to get around this time on the Leidseplein one serving pancakes to eat. Pancakes I have rarely been tastier! Jam jam. To officially make the pub crawl we had a pub visits. This was the Hard Rock Cafe, where we once again a big pint inside worked. So we made there is still a heavily pimped relaxing evening of cool fat you know.

And then there was an elephant with a long snout, and that was just in time by a poacher who felled his tusks below cost to an Arab trader sold. This trader also had connections with a sheikh who had earned a lot of money with oil and offered the tusks to the oil magnate to. Who bought them and had beautiful earrings of polishing. These earrings were given to a prostitute in Paris, where he regularly went. This hooker then tripped over a paving stone and thus lost the earrings were never found. But I digress ...

The concert, looked so good back so that square ..

Bow and Steef enjoy it, while it lasts ...

These guys were the pancakes next stall. Do not ask me why, the pancakes were great.
